S’more Scripture is an exciting resource filled with creative ways to help children memorize key Bible verses throughout the summer break. This resource is perfect for children who want to deepen their understanding of the Bible and hide God’s Word in their hearts.

Here’s what S’more Scripture has to offer:

1. 8 Weekly Memory Verses: Each week during the summer, children will learn a new Bible verse. My goal with this is to have them learn about what the Bible is for us (Psalm 119:105), why we need to learn Scripture (Psalm 119:11), how much God loves us (John 3:16), how we are saved (Romans 10:9), how God never leaves us (Deuteronomy 31:8), why we are to trust God (Proverbs 3:5-6), how Jesus gives us strength for everything (Philippians 4:13), and that Jesus never changes (Hebrews 13:8)
2. 8 Read S’more Devotions: This is a super short devotion for the beginning of the week that helps kids understand why it’s important to learn this verse.
3. 8 Write S’more pages: Blank pages for them to write down the verse several times during the week.
4. 8 Draw S’more pages: Blank pages for them to be able to draw a picture of the verse
5. 8 Color S’more pages: A camping theme picture for them to color with blank space to write the verse in as they color.
6. Blank S’more Template: I have also created a blank s’more template that’s included as a Canva template that you can use if you choose to use other verses for your Scripture memorization. You can also write in your own short devotion of “why is this verse important to learn.”
7. Printing Tips – This resource is flexible and allows you to print and put together in whatever way is easiest for you!

This resource also allows for flexibilty in the Bible translation kids use. The actual verse is never printed anywhere on the pages. Kids can use whatever Bible they have at home or what translation they like best to learn the verses.  And KidMin Leaders can use the Bible translation they use at their church too.
